On the 28th April Mum and Dad took me down town (Tamworth) and we went into the Tamworth Heritage Trust shop. Two years ago we gave them a cardboard model of Tamworth Castle that me and Dad originally made for my school homework so I also wanted to give then one of my photos to.
Dad printed out my photo to A3 size and framed it and took it into the shop and gave it to Margaret Clarke who is the Chairman of the Tamworth Heritage Trust. She was very happy with it and everyone else who was in the shop really liked it and asked questions. Dad also got me to sign the back of the frame with Harvey Payne aged 7 and they seemed to like that.
Margaret said she will find a nice place in the shop to hang it so that everyone who visits can see it. I am very happy as it will be the first photo I have taken on public display.
The photo was taken with my Canon Powershot SX30 camera whilst walking up the pathway to Tamworth Castle. At the time Dad said it was much nicer than the photo he took as, being not as tall as Dad, mine was taken from a lower view point and so captured all the wall on the right-hand side of the photo..
